Highly skilled personnel in the Air Force, who have undergone specialized training specifically for aircraft maintenance, will not be transferred to the infantry, the speaker added.
Significant resources have been invested in these specialists, and their unique experience is irreplaceable. However, the demand for infantry personnel remains unchanged.
Separately, Likhoviy noted the need to increase the number of personnel in mechanized brigades. Unfortunately, the current mobilization capabilities do not meet this requirement, leading to the reduction of certain units within the Armed Forces of Ukraine that are responsible for logistics, support, and maintenance.
In turn, military personnel servicing Western IRIS-T air defense systems are being transferred to the infantry. MP from "European Solidarity" Oleksiy Honcharenko stated that he has information regarding such incidents.
Military technicians are receiving orders for transfer or removal from their units. Honcharenko emphasized his doubts about the General Staff's statements and raised a valid question: if these technicians are sent to the infantry, who will service the Western weaponry in their place?
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine requests that the media and public figures comment thoughtfully on the sensitive issue of service assignments and transfers of Armed Forces personnel to other branches.
"Hotlines for feedback are operational within the Air Force, including to prevent unauthorized transfers of Air Force personnel to other branches of the Armed Forces," the military noted.
If such cases occur, they should be reported, and appropriate responses will follow. Currently, high-tech military specialties have been identified for which transfers of Air Force personnel to other branches of the Armed Forces are prohibited.
Recall that the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Vitaliy Kim, discussed why mobilization in Ukraine is accompanied by scandals with the TCC. To resolve these issues, the demobilization question must be addressed.
