The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, will arrive in Ukraine next week "for a high-level meeting" in Kyiv. This information comes from UNN, citing the agency's website.

It is noted that the visit is scheduled for February 4. This will be the 11th mission to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, under the direct leadership of the Director General.

During the negotiations, discussions are planned regarding the current efforts of the IAEA to prevent a nuclear accident amid the military conflict.

"Last week, IAEA teams working at Ukrainian nuclear power plants (NPPs) continued to report on the ongoing risks faced by the facilities, as well as numerous signs of military activity near these sites," the agency added.

According to the agency, IAEA teams in Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, southern Ukraine, and Chernobyl conducted rotations last week. The team at Zaporizhzhia NPP will rotate next week.
