The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Black Sea Fleet utilized a drone to destroy a Ukrainian military naval drone.

Russian military bloggers claim that the Russian Black Sea Fleet launched missiles from an "Orion" type drone developed by the Russian company "Kronstadt" from an unspecified military naval platform.

This strike may represent the first documented instance of Russian forces using a military naval platform to deploy unmanned aerial vehicles capable of destroying Ukrainian military naval drones.

At the same time, another Russian blogger urged the authorities to increase the production of weaponry similar to the X-UAV missiles (TKB-1030) launched from drones. This would enhance the effectiveness of countering the capabilities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces' naval drones, which have made the use of helicopters in the Black Sea region too risky.
