During a conversation with the channel's filming crew, a journalist asked Trump if Zelensky would "join" the peace talks, to which the U.S. President replied: "Yes. He will be involved." Trump did not specify how the Ukrainian president would be joining the negotiations.
Speaking to reporters, Trump also stated that he is "working hard" to achieve peace and added that he believes both Zelensky and Putin "want to end the war." Furthermore, Trump mentioned that he might meet with Kremlin leader Putin "very soon."
