World Wetlands Day
This day is celebrated annually in accordance with the UN General Assembly resolution A/RES/75/317.
The event was established along with the signing of the Convention on Wetlands in 1971 in Ramsar, Iran.
The initial aim of the Convention was to preserve the habitats of waterfowl; over time, the event's purpose expanded to focus on the conservation and balanced use of these ecosystems, which is crucial for nature.
World Day for Consecrated Life
World Day for Consecrated Life, established by Pope John Paul II in 1997, is an annual celebration of the Catholic Church honoring the dedication of those who have chosen consecrated life.
This day serves not only as a tribute to consecrated individuals but also as an opportunity for the entire Christian community to reflect on the significance of such a life.
Day of Rejecting Unnecessary Relationships
The Day of Rejecting Unnecessary Relationships is celebrated on the first Sunday of February. The name translates to "Dump Your Significant Jerk Day" and literally means a day for restoring self-respect. This day is dedicated to helping people rid themselves of toxic relationships.
Day of Self-Renewal
This day focuses on personal growth, self-care, skill enhancement, and overall well-being.
It’s a day to step out of your comfort zone, try something new, and engage in activities that promote growth and maturity.
