More than 20,000 subscribers were left without electricity and over 17,000 without heating in Zaporizhzhia due to the nighttime Russian attack. As of now, electricity has been restored to nearly 5,000 consumers, reported head of the OVA Ivan Fedorov.
"Due to the nighttime enemy attack, more than 20,000 subscribers were left without electricity in Zaporizhzhia this morning, and over 17,000 without heating. Currently… nearly 5,000 consumers have been reconnected to the electricity supply. We have also restored the heating plants that service more than 100 homes. By morning, all residents will have heat," he wrote on Telegram.
As reported, on the night of January 23, the Russian army carried out an attack on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in the destruction of one multi-story building and damage to 30 others. A 47-year-old man was killed. According to the latest information, the number of injured has reached 51 people.
