The death toll in Poltava has risen to twelve, including two children, as reported by the State Emergency Service.

In Poltava, the death toll from the missile strike on the high-rise building has risen to twelve. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine provided updated information on the number of casualties and injured as of the morning of Sunday, February 2.

In Poltava, the death toll from the missile strike on a multi-story building has risen to twelve. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine provided updated information on the number of victims and injured as of Sunday morning, February 2.

"Poltava: the number of deceased has increased to 12, including 2 children. There are 17 injured, among them 4 children. 22 people have been rescued," - the message on the State Emergency Service's Telegram channel states.

Rescue operations are ongoing.

As reported, as a result of the missile strike in Poltava on February 1, the entrance of a multi-story residential building was destroyed from the 1st to the 5th floor, resulting in a fire. Initially, 11 fatalities were reported, including a child, with 17 people injured, three of whom are children. Nearby buildings and 12 vehicles were also damaged.
