Polish President Andrzej Duda met with American leader Donald Trump in Washington on Saturday, affirming that the Polish-American alliance is stronger than ever.
“Behind the scenes at CPAC, President Trump met with President Andrzej Duda and confirmed our close alliance. President Trump also praised President Andrzej Duda for Poland's commitment to increasing defense spending,” the White House stated on social media platform X.
It is noted that nearly 10 years of effective and consistent policies from the Polish president have strengthened the country's security. “The Polish-American alliance is stronger than ever, and today’s (Saturday - IF-U) meeting between Andrzej Duda and Donald Trump is the best evidence of this,” the Polish president's office reported.
The meeting was also attended by the head of the cabinet, President Duda's Chief of Staff Marcin Mastalerek, head of the Bureau of International Policy Wojciech Kolarski, and Deputy Head of the Bureau of International Policy Nikodem Rahoń.
