The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, expressed his support for the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, and the European aspirations of the Georgian people during a phone call.
"I spoke with the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, about the situation in Georgia. I assured the President of my unwavering support for her leadership and the European aspirations of the Georgian people. Georgians have an inherent right to move towards a united Europe. The way out of the current crisis is new elections based on OSCE recommendations," - wrote Duda on social media platform X.
As reported, the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, stated at a protest in Tbilisi on Sunday that she is awaiting a date for new parliamentary elections from the ruling party "Georgian Dream."
