Railway workers have restored operations on a section of the railway in the Kyiv region, where the contact network was damaged due to enemy shelling, reports Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) on Monday morning.
"The railway workers have completed the restoration of the contact network that was damaged as a result of enemy shelling in Kyiv region. Train services on the section are now open," the UZ stated in a message on their Telegram channel.
UZ noted that some services may still experience delays. The company urged passengers to monitor schedule changes on the JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" website.
The maximum delay recorded is 1 hour and 11 minutes for trains No. 103/104 Lviv – Kramatorsk and No. 21/22 Lviv – Kharkiv-Passazhyrskyi. Train No. 9/10 Budapest – Keleti – Kyiv-Passazhyrskyi is running 36 minutes late. Trains No. 13/14 Solotvyno-1 – Kyiv-Passazhyrskyi, No. 55/56 Rakhiv – Kyiv-Passazhyrskyi, and No. 95/96 Rakhiv – Kyiv-Passazhyrskyi are delayed by 20 minutes. Additionally, ten other trains have delays of less than 15 minutes.
