The Unified State Register of Legal Entities will resume operations on Thursday following a cyberattack from Russia.

The operation of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs, and Public Formations (USR) will resume on Thursday, January 9, following a significant cyberattack from Russia, as reported by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

The work of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs, and Public Formations (USR) will resume on Thursday, January 9, following a large-scale cyberattack from Russia, reports the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

"Tomorrow, electronic information interaction with government authorities will be restored – the State Tax Service, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and other agencies that utilize USR data in their operations," the statement reads.

In particular, several online services will become available through the "Diia" app. The USR portal will restore functions such as free information searches in the register, generating extracts, obtaining administrative service results via access codes, and allowing government agencies access to registry information through access identifiers.

"Our team continues to work on restoring other registries. We understand how important it is for you to have convenient access to government services and their uninterrupted operation. Therefore, together with the Cyber Police, the Cyber Department of the SBU, State Special Communications, and specialists from National Information Systems, we are doing everything possible not only to resume the operation of the registries but also to enhance their protection. Your trust is our responsibility and motivation to work even harder," the agency emphasized.

As reported, the website of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has resumed its operations.

On December 20, Stefanishina stated that all data in the registries would be restored, but this would take some time, and that as a result of the cyberattack by the Russian Federation on the network infrastructure of the Ministry of Justice, which services the state registries, there is no confirmation of personal data leakage.
