The Russian forces continue to attack Ukrainian military units in eight different directions, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Since the beginning of this day, there have been 166 combat encounters. The Russian invaders carried out 31 air strikes, dropping 48 aerial bombs. Additionally, the Russians deployed 750 kamikaze drones and conducted over 3,800 shellings on our troops' positions and civilian settlements," the report states.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to breach the defensive lines of Ukrainian forces near Volchansk four times.
"Today, the Ukrainian fighters in this area neutralized 63 occupiers, destroyed an anti-tank weapon, four vehicles, 33 UAVs, and three communication devices, as well as damaged two enemy vehicles and one piece of special equipment," the report notes.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted 12 assaults in the areas of Golubovka, Zahryzovo, and towards Petropavlivka. Ukrainian defenders repelled ten attacks, while two combat encounters are still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, over the course of the day, the Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions near Nadezhda, Kopanky, Novoegorivka, Ivanivka, and Ternov 17 times. Three combat encounters are still ongoing.
In the Seversk direction, the enemy made two attempts to advance on our units' positions near Bilohorivka, both of which were repelled by Ukrainian forces.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders halted three offensive actions by the Russians near Belya Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled six attacks by the Russians near Toretsk and Diliivka.
In the Vremivka direction, the invaders launched 13 offensive actions near Novosilka, Konstantinopol, Yantarny, and towards Konstantinopol, with three combat encounters ongoing at present.
In the Dniprovsk direction, the Russians suffered defeats three times while attacking the defensive lines of the Ukrainians.
No significant changes occurred in other directions.
