The Prime Minister of Slovakia has no intention of resigning due to the mass protests in the country, reports Denik N on Saturday.
"The government can only be replaced if elections are held," the Prime Minister stated, adding that early elections are not ruled out," Denik N quotes Robert Fico.
"This is not 2018. We are too resilient and experienced for some NGOs and certain Ukrainian and Georgian warriors to destabilize our state," said the leader of "Smer," referring to the mass demonstrations in Slovakia in 2018 triggered by the murder of journalist Jan Kuciak, which forced Fico to resign during his previous term from 2012 to 2018.
"Fico reiterated that people have the right to participate in rallies and protests, as long as they are not shouting for officials to be imprisoned and do not engage in "mischief," Denik N reports.
