Since the beginning of the day and as of 22:00, 164 combat engagements have been recorded along the entire front line, with the situation remaining tense in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kurakhove directions, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The enemy is intensively attacking Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk direction. Throughout the day, the aggressor has carried out 39 assault and offensive actions here... Three combat engagements are still ongoing... The enemy is suffering significant losses in this direction, with 312 occupiers neutralized since the start of the day, 155 of whom are irretrievable. Additionally, our defenders destroyed one tank, six units of automotive equipment, and disabled one enemy mortar," the summary from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated on Telegram on Thursday.
It is reported that in the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 24 times, including using assault aircraft.
In the Kurakhove direction, there have been 23 combat engagements, with Defense Forces units repelling 18 enemy attacks, and five enemy assaults are still ongoing.
The occupiers have increased the number of assault actions in the Vremivka direction, where there have been 15 assaults by the occupiers, and nine combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attempted to breach our defenses 13 times, all attacks were repelled, and the enemy achieved no success.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked our units eight times, with four combat engagements still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of the Defense Forces four times, without success.
In the Siversk direction, the occupiers attacked three times without success.
In the Dnipro direction, our warriors repelled attacks from Russian invaders on Ukrainian positions three times. The enemy achieved no success.
"The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Currently, there are reports of 21 airstrikes using 31 guided aerial bombs and 424 artillery shellings, including 18 from multiple launch rocket systems," the summary stated.
In the Kharkiv and Orikhiv directions, isolated unsuccessful attempts by the enemy to advance have been noted.
In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy has not conducted any active actions since the beginning of the day.
No significant changes in the situation have occurred in other directions.
