It has been reported that seven individuals were injured as a result of a missile strike by the Russian army on Odessa on Friday evening, and they have been hospitalized, reported the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The prosecutor's office has initiated proceedings regarding the facts of war crimes. According to the investigation, on the evening of January 31, the Russian armed forces attacked Odessa with ballistic missiles, presumably of the "Iskander" type.
"In the central part of the city, a hotel building was damaged, windows were shattered, and facades of nearby houses and premises were affected. It is known that there are 7 injured individuals who have been hospitalized," the agency stated in a message on Telegram.
Information regarding the injured and the extent of the damage is being clarified.
Emergency services and law enforcement officials are working at the scene, documenting yet another war crime committed by Russia.
Earlier reports indicated that three people were injured.
