Rescuers extinguished a fire in one of the hotels at the "Dragobrat" ski resort, evacuating 20 vacationers without any injuries, reports the State Emergency Service on Sunday.

"On January 11 at 12:20, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire in one of the hotels located in the 'Dragobrat' ski complex... The hotel administration and staff evacuated 20 guests and attempted to extinguish the flames with fire extinguishers," the agency's website states.

According to the State Emergency Service, two units of equipment from the state fire and rescue divisions of the city of Rakhiv and the village of Yasinya were dispatched to the scene, along with a command vehicle from the city of Khust. Additionally, specialists from the mountain search and rescue unit in the village of Kvasy, who are on duty at Dragobrat, assisted in controlling the fire.

It is noted that due to the challenging mountain road conditions, snow cover, and ice on the slopes, access for the vehicles was difficult, requiring firefighters to lay hose lines to supply water.

Reports indicate that the fire was localized at 14:04 and extinguished by 15:06.

The cause of the fire and the total amount of damage will be determined by law enforcement authorities.
