On Friday, there were 148 combat encounters reported on the front lines of the Russian-Ukrainian war, with the majority occurring in the Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk region and the Kursk region, as stated by the General Staff of Ukraine on Facebook on Saturday.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders halted 40 assaults and offensive actions from the aggressor... In the operational zone in the Kursk region, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 41 attacks from Russian invaders," the report says.
In the Lyman, Kurakhove, and Vremivka directions in the Donetsk region, the Defense Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks each, ten in the Kramatorsk direction, seven in both the Toretsk and Kupiansk areas in Kharkiv region, two attacks in the Kharkiv, Toretsk, Siversk, and Dnipro directions, and one in the Orikhiv direction.
In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy did not conduct any assault operations on Friday. No signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
On Thursday, 138 combat encounters were recorded at the front, including 38 in the Pokrovsk and only ten in the Kursk direction, while over 20 combat encounters occurred in the Kurakhove and Vremivka directions in the Donetsk region. On Wednesday, there were 140 combat encounters across all fronts, with 38 in the Pokrovsk, 26 in the Kurakhove, and only five in the Kursk directions.
