Ukrainian forces eliminated 201 Russian occupiers in the Pokrovsk direction of Donetsk region on Saturday, according to a report updated at 10:00 PM on the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Facebook page.
"Today in this direction, preliminary data indicates that Ukrainian warriors neutralized 425 occupiers, of which 201 are irretrievable. Additionally, two armored combat vehicles and seven units of automotive equipment were destroyed, and one armored combat vehicle was damaged," the statement reads.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has launched 48 attacks. Ukrainian defenders repelled 30 assaults, with 18 attacks still ongoing.
Overall, since the start of the day, there have been 149 combat engagements across all fronts of the Russo-Ukrainian war. Russian invaders deployed 765 kamikaze drones and conducted nearly 3,800 shellings targeting Ukrainian positions and settlements. "Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely resist the enemy's attempts to advance into our territory, inflicting fire damage upon them," the General Staff reported.
