In the past 24 hours, Russian forces have launched attacks in 10 different sectors of the front, with a total of 110 combat engagements recorded, according to the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of the morning of February 2.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders halted 40 assault and offensive actions by the aggressor in the areas of Zelenoye Pole, Yelizavetovka, Luch, Zvirov, Udachnoye, Uspenovka, Novoaleksandrovka, Serebryanoye, and Dachnoye," the report notes.
In the Kupiansk direction, there were 17 attacks by the occupiers, which the Defense Forces repelled in the areas of the settlements of Topolya, Dvurechnaya, Petropavlivka, Stepnaya Novoselka, Glushkovka, Zahryzovo, and Lozovaya.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 15 attacks, attempting to advance near Novoegorovka, Ternov, Yampolovka, Kolodyazey, Torsky, and in the direction of Novomikhailovka.
In the Siversk direction, Defense Forces units repelled four attacks by enemy troops near Verkhnokamensky and Belogorovka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, seven combat encounters were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Stupochki, and Belya Gora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted seven attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Krymske.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the invaders carried out two attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions, attempting to advance towards Konstantinopol and Razliv.
In the Hulyaipole direction, the aggressor made two attempts to push our defenders from their occupied positions near Novoselka.
In the Orikhiv direction, there were two combat encounters in the area of Shcherbakiv and Nesterianka.
In the Dniprovsk direction, Russian invaders unsuccessfully stormed our units' positions once.
According to the General Staff, in the operational zone in the Kharkiv region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled eight attacks by Russian invaders in the past day. Additionally, the enemy launched 19 airstrikes using 24 guided bombs and carried out 351 artillery shellings (including 5 from MLRS).
