In Russia, a refinery in the Volgograd region was hit last night, reported Andrey Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) of the National Security and Defense Council.
"The Volgograd refinery was struck. It is one of the largest in Russia," he wrote on Telegram.
According to Kovalenko, the plant has a processing capacity of about 14 million tons of oil per year, making it the sixth largest refinery in Russia.
He also noted that the plant produces gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, and aviation fuel.
