Russian forces continue to launch intense attacks on Ukrainian units in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a report as of 22:00 on Monday.
In total, there have been 148 combat encounters reported at this time, states the General Staff on its Telegram channel.
The enemy is primarily focusing its attacks on the Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk direction, where 77 assault and offensive actions have occurred, with 65 attacks repelled, and another 12 combat encounters ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attempted to break through our defenses 13 times near Toretsk, Krymske, Diliivka, and Shcherbynivka.
"There were 13 combat encounters today in the Kursk direction, one of which is still ongoing. Over the course of the day, the enemy conducted 222 artillery shellings, including two from multiple launch rocket systems, carried out 19 airstrikes, and dropped 25 guided bombs," the General Staff noted.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked nine times, all of which were repelled by our forces.
In the Novopavlivka direction, our defenders repelled eight enemy attacks.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to dislodge our units from their positions six times, with one battle still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled six enemy attempts to advance, and all combat encounters have now concluded.
In the Seversk, Orykhov, and Dnipro directions, isolated combat encounters were recorded.
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy has not conducted any offensive actions since the beginning of the day.
