The occupiers continue to heavily shell the Zaporizhzhia region using various types of weaponry. Over the past day, 12 populated areas came under fire, reported the head of the regional military administration (OVA), Ivan Fedorov, on Wednesday, December 25.
"Throughout the day, the occupiers launched 421 strikes on 12 populated areas in the Zaporizhzhia region," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Fedorov, Russian forces carried out 10 airstrikes on Temirovka and Shcherbaki. A total of 221 UAVs of various modifications attacked Zaporizhzhia, Kamenske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaki, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Volshbne, and Novodarivka. There were 190 artillery shellings targeting the territories of Kamenske, Mala Shcherbaki, Lukyanivske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaki, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka.
According to the OVA, there were 36 reports of damage to residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. No civilians were harmed.
