Throughout the current day, Russian forces continued to attack the positions of Ukrainian units in nine different directions, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 PM on Thursday.
In particular, in the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks near Volchansk.
"Today in this direction, our defenders neutralized 37 occupiers, destroyed 32 UAVs, a weapons storage site, and a communication device, and also damaged an artillery system and three vehicles," the report stated.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted three assaults on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Zapadny, Dvurechna, and Kruglyakovka. Ukrainian forces repelled one attack, while two others are still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, over the course of the day, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions 16 times near Nadiya, Makeivka, Ternovy, Hryhorivka, and in the Serebryansky Forest. Currently, four battles are taking place.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy made one attempt to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units near Bilohorivka during the day, but was unsuccessful.
In the Kramatorsk direction, six combat clashes have been recorded near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky, with Ukrainian defenders successfully repelling four attacks while two combat engagements continue.
In the Toretsk direction, Russians attacked defense positions eight times. The main efforts of the occupiers' offensive were concentrated near the settlements of Toretsk, New York, and Shcherbinovka. Currently, two combat clashes are ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy attacks near Novoandriivka.
In the Dnipro direction, the enemy made two unsuccessful attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven enemy attacks, with two combat clashes still ongoing.
In other directions, there have been no significant changes in the situation.
