Russian occupiers lost 15,185 personnel in the Pokrovsk direction in January, yet they continue to actively advance on the positions of Ukrainian units, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The enemy is suffering significant losses in this direction - according to updated information, during the current month our warriors have neutralized 15,185 occupiers, 6,966 of whom are irretrievable. Sixteen tanks, 87 armored combat vehicles, 320 units of automotive equipment, 22 artillery systems, one anti-tank missile system, one fuel and lubricants storage depot, five ammunition depots, and 173 UAVs have been destroyed. Additionally, 14 tanks, 25 armored combat vehicles, 83 units of automotive equipment, 49 guns and mortars, and one multiple launch rocket system have been damaged," the General Staff informs.
The report noted that the Russian army also suffered significant losses in the Kursk region, where the enemy has irretrievably lost about 3,500 personnel.
"The enemy's losses in this direction for the month of January currently amount to: 8,038 occupiers, of which 3,488 are irretrievable, and 45 captors have been taken prisoner. Additionally, seven tanks, 16 infantry fighting vehicles, three armored personnel carriers, 12 landing combat vehicles, 40 armored vehicles, 81 cars, two artillery systems, 14 mortars, 95 unmanned aerial vehicles, and two units of engineering equipment have been destroyed. Furthermore, 19 tanks, 8 BMPs, one landing combat vehicle, 36 armored combat vehicles, 32 cars, 5 artillery systems, and 16 mortars have been significantly damaged," the statement reads.
