Over the past 24 hours on Thursday, there were 150 combat encounters on the front, with nearly half of the fighting reported in the Pokrovsk direction, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
“In the last day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck once at the concentration area of personnel, three times at command points, twice at air defense systems, and seven times at other significant targets of the enemy,” the report states.
In the Kharkiv direction, there was one combat encounter towards Liptsy.
In the Kupiansk direction, three enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of Petropavlivka, Zahryzovo, and Nova Kruhlyakivka.
In the Lyman direction, the number of battles reached 11.
In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces stopped three enemy attacks in the settlements of Kopanky, Novolyubivka, Balka Zhuravka, Yampolivka, Zelenaya Dolina, Terny, and Kolodezi.
In the Siversk direction, the Russians attacked the positions of the Defense Forces nine times in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamensky.
In the Kramatorsk direction, ten attacks were repelled near Orekhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Stupochky, Chasiv Yar, and Predtechyne.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked 13 times in the areas of Toretsk, Diliivka, Shcherbynivka, and Krymske.
In the Pokrovsk direction, 71 attacks were repelled. The enemy attempted to advance near the settlements of Malynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Vodyane Druhe, Novotoretske, and beyond.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, Russians attempted twice to breach Ukrainian defensive lines.
In the Huliaipole direction, there were four combat encounters.
In the Dnipro direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven enemy attacks.
In the Kursk region, there were 11 combat encounters.
