The government is working on projects for dual-purpose storage facilities to preserve cultural artifacts, announced Ukraine's Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications, Mykola Tochitsky.

"This is an element that the government is currently focused on, and two plans have already been approved in two locations, though I won't disclose where. These dual-purpose storage facilities will be large-scale and significant. I believe construction will begin in the near future," Tochitsky stated in an interview with the "Karpyak on Suspilne" project on Thursday evening.

According to him, these storage facilities will serve both as shelters for people and as places for the preservation of artifacts.

As reported, in March 2024, then Acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy Rostyslav Karandeiev had already announced the construction of a secure depository for Ukrainian museum treasures.
