The President of Slovakia, Peter Pellegrini, has declined to visit Kyiv for an official trip due to Ukraine's cessation of Russian gas transit, which Slovakia was receiving, as reported by the Slovak Republic's state news agency (TASR).
"Speaking on the political program 'Saturday Dialogues,' President Peter Pellegrini stated that under the current circumstances, a visit to Ukraine is out of the question, explaining that the Ukrainian government has halted gas supplies and is refusing gas transit to Slovakia," - according to the TASR report.
