Russia targeted a thermal power plant, causing significant damage to its equipment, according to DTEK.

The company emphasized that after the shelling ended, energy workers promptly began addressing the aftermath and restoring the functionality of the equipment.

"This year marks the thirteenth large-scale attack on the Ukrainian energy sector and the tenth large-scale attack on the company's energy facilities," DTEK noted.

Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, DTEK's thermal power plants have been shelled more than 200 times.
