On Tuesday, Russian forces shelled 13 communities in the Sumy region, resulting in casualties, according to the regional military administration.
"Throughout the day, the Russians conducted 147 shellings of border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. A total of 265 explosions were recorded. The communities affected include Myropil, Shalyhyne, Esman, Svesa, Khotyn, Belopol, Novoslobodka, Krasnopillya, Velykopysarivka, Yunakivka, Seredyno-Buda, Nedryhailiv, and Sumy," the statement said.
Yunakivka: the enemy carried out artillery shelling (4 explosions) and launched a UAV (1 explosion).
Seredyno-Buda: the Russians dropped explosive devices from a UAV (1 explosion), attacked with an FPV drone (1 explosion), shelled with mortars (10 explosions), and artillery (11 explosions). They also struck with kamikaze drones of the FPV type (6 explosions), damaging a private residential house.
Velykopysarivka: shelling was conducted using artillery (10 explosions), mortars (15 explosions), kamikaze drone strikes (9 explosions), and ammunition drops from a UAV (4 explosions).
Krasnopillya: the enemy dropped explosives from a UAV (45 explosions), damaging a private residential house. The Russians also conducted mortar shelling (13 explosions), attacked with kamikaze drones (6 explosions), and dropped a UAV (2 explosions), resulting in damage to a private property.
Khotyn: the enemy dropped munitions from a UAV (1 explosion), struck with kamikaze drones (5 explosions), and fired artillery (44 explosions).
Myropil: the Russians dropped explosive devices from a UAV (5 explosions) and a VOG-type explosive device (2 explosions).
Belopol: the Russians shelled with mortars (8 explosions) and dropped explosive munitions from a UAV (6 explosions).
Svesa: the enemy struck with an FPV drone (2 explosions) and dropped explosive devices from a UAV (4 explosions).
Shalyhyne: the Russians attacked with kamikaze drones (4 explosions) and dropped an explosive device from a UAV (1 explosion).
Esman: there were recorded strikes from an FPV drone (1 explosion), attacks from kamikaze drones (5 explosions), and shelling from mortars (22 explosions).
Novoslobodka: the Russians struck with an FPV-type kamikaze drone (1 explosion).
Nedryhailiv: the enemy launched an attack with a UAV (3 explosions). As a result of the strike, a production building of an enterprise was damaged, and two people were injured.
Sumy: an attack by a UAV (1 explosion) was recorded against the residential sector of the city of Sumy, damaging private residential buildings.
