On Monday, Russian forces shelled nine communities in the Sumy region, resulting in five injuries and damage reported by the regional military administration in a summary.
"Throughout the day, the Russians conducted 56 shellings of border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. A total of 82 explosions were recorded. The communities affected include Khotynska, Yunakivska, Belopolsk, Krasnopil, Velykopysarivka, Novoslobodka, Putyvl, Hlukhiv, and Seredyno-Budska," the report stated.
According to the OVA information, the Seredyno-Budska community experienced mortar shelling (1 explosion), an airborne grenade (VOG) drop from a drone (1 explosion), and strikes from FPV drones (10 explosions). As a result of the attack, one civilian was injured.
In the Yunakivska community, the enemy struck with guided aerial bombs (2 explosions), resulting in injuries to 4 individuals.
The Krasnopil community faced strikes from FPV drones (12 explosions), damaging a private house.
In the Belopolsk community, the Russians dropped 20 mines and also conducted an airborne grenade (VOG) drop (8 explosions).
The Novoslobodka community was hit by an FPV drone strike (1 explosion) and mortar shelling (9 explosions).
In the Velykopysarivka community, the enemy attacked with FPV drones (4 explosions) and mortar shelling (6 explosions).
Strikes with guided aerial bombs were carried out by the enemy on the Khotynska (4 explosions) and Hlukhiv (3 explosions) communities.
In the Putyvl community, an FPV drone strike occurred (1 explosion).
