Russians have "legalized" repression against civilians in temporarily occupied territories, according to the National Resistance Center.

In Russia, a law has been enacted that grants police the authority to enter the premises of Ukrainians in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, according to the Center for National Resistance (CNR).

A law has been enacted in Russia that will allow police to enter the homes of Ukrainians in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, reports the National Resistance Center (NRC).

"Police, under the guise of state control over migrants, will gain the right to access housing and other premises where these 'foreigners' actually reside. In reality, this concerns those migrants who have not exchanged their Ukrainian passports for Russian ones," the statement reads.

It is noted that the law will come into effect on March 5 of this year.

"The Kremlin is tightening repression against the peaceful population of Ukraine, and as of January 1, 2025, the occupiers have stripped basic rights from those Ukrainians who refused to change their citizenship," the Center emphasized.
