Russian invaders continue to assault the positions of Ukrainian defenders, with a total of 117 combat encounters reported since the beginning of the day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine are disrupting enemy plans, inflicting significant losses on the aggressor in personnel and equipment,” the report noted as of 16:00.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy has conducted offensive actions since the start of the day in the areas of the settlements of Hoptivka, Hluboke, Vysoka Yaruha, and Starytsia, with a total of five encounters, and one attack still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the adversary executed six assault actions near Kucherivka, Stepne Novoselivka, Bohuslavka, Zahryzovo, and Nova Krestynivka. One combat encounter is still in progress.
In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked 23 times near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Novosergiivka, Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Makeivka, Terny, Toretsk, Hryhorivka, and in the direction of Druzhliubivka, Dibrova, and Serebrianka. Sixteen enemy attacks remain unfinished.
In the Severodonetsk direction, the enemy attacked our units four times in the areas of Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, and Vyiemka. Three attacks are still ongoing.
The Defense Forces repelled two Russian attacks near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky in the Kramatorsk direction, with one battle still taking place.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked four times near the settlements of Toretsk and Druzhba. Two combat encounters are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers made 17 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Sukha Balka, Luch, Lisovka, Zeleno, Dachenske, Novoukrainka, Pokrovsk, Novovasyliivka, Novoelyzavetivka, and Novo Olenivka. The Defense Forces are holding back the enemy's pressure, having repelled 13 attacks, with four combat encounters still ongoing. Enemy losses are being clarified.
Today, in the Kurakhove direction, the aggressor attacked nine times near the settlements of Sontsivka, Staryi Terny, Kurakhove, and Dachne. Four combat encounters have concluded, while five are still in progress.
In the Vremivka direction, the occupiers attacked our troops' positions 23 times near Novoselka, Konstantinopolske, Yantarnyi, Uspenivka, Razliv, Razdolne, Novoselka, Blahodatne, and Vremivka, with seven combat encounters still ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked once towards Novoandriivka.
In the Dnipro direction, our troops repelled one enemy attack, and the enemy was unsuccessful.
In the operational zone in the Kharkiv region, the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 10 attacks by Russian invaders throughout the day, with another 11 attacks still ongoing. The enemy carried out around 300 shellings.
In other areas of the front, there have been no significant changes in the situation.
