Ukrainian defenders shot down 113 Shahed-type strike drones and other types of imitation drones launched by Russian occupiers during the night of Monday, February 24, as reported on the Facebook page of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"As of 08:00, the downing of 113 Shahed-type strike UAVs and other types of drones has been confirmed in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions," the statement said.
Additionally, 71 enemy imitation drones were lost without negative consequences.
"As a result of the enemy attack, the Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions were affected," the Air Forces reported.
No information has been provided about casualties or destruction.
On the night of February 24, 2025 (from 20:00 on February 23), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 185 Shahed-type strike UAVs and imitation drones of various types. The aerial assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces, and Defense Forces.
