The Russian forces continue to suffer losses in the Pokrovsk direction, having lost nearly 400 personnel in a single day, with intense fighting ongoing in three other directions, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Currently, there have been 158 combat engagements. The situation remains tense today in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions, and the enemy is also active in the Lyman, Vremivka directions, and in the Kursk region," the report states.
Thus, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses in the Pokrovsk direction 52 times in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Lucha, Vozdvizhenska, Lisovka, Dachne, Novyi Trud, Shevchenko, Novoezavetivka, Novovasilivka, and Volkovyi. They faced resistance from Ukrainian defenders.
"According to preliminary information, today our soldiers neutralized 382 occupiers in this direction, 196 of whom are irreversible losses. Four vehicles, an armored combat vehicle, a surveillance device 'Murav-M', an electronic warfare system, seven communication devices, a 'Lantsut' drone, and a motorcycle were destroyed," the summary states.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 20 attacks in the areas of Pershotravneve, Novoehivka, Nadiya, Ternov, Torske, Zarechne, Dibrova, and in the Serebryansky forest. Ukrainian troops repelled the assaults of the occupiers.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 18 times. The highest activity was noted in the areas of Petropavlivka, Slavyanka, Dachne, and Kurakhove, where Ukrainian defenders thwarted all assaults.
In the Vremivka direction, Ukrainian forces halted 17 enemy attacks near Konstantynopol, Razliv, Novyi Komar, and Novodarivka.
