The U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, stated that a swift end to the war serves the interests of the entire world, including the United States.
"It is in the interest of U.S. national security to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict," - said Kellogg in an interview with Fox News. "If we can stop this war, it will benefit the whole world, including the United States."
"Achieving a ceasefire and lasting peace is possible within months, not years," - he added.
According to Kellogg, Trump "will create leverage for both Kyiv and Moscow," as "the president knows where and how to apply pressure."
"He skillfully negotiates any deals," - he emphasized.
At the same time, the Special Envoy noted that the decision regarding potential additional sanctions against Russia to achieve progress in ending the war "rests with President Trump."
