Trump has announced the appointment of Fox News host Tammy Bruce as a representative for the State Department.

American author, journalist, and Fox News host Tammy Bruce will be appointed as the spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, announced President-elect Donald Trump.

American writer, journalist, and Fox News host Tammy Bruce has been announced by elected President Donald Trump as the new representative of the U.S. Department of State.

"It is a great honor for me to announce that Tammy Bruce will join our incredible nominee for Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, as the representative of the U.S. Department of State… As one of the longest-serving news authors, Tammy has been delivering the truth to the American people for over two decades. I know she will bring the same persuasive power and fearless spirit to her new role as representative of the State Department," Trump wrote on social media platform X.

The inauguration ceremony for Trump's second presidential term is scheduled for January 20. The position of the State Department representative is currently held by Matthew Miller.
