Трамп встретится с Нетаньяху, чтобы обсудить ситуацию в Газе и угрозы, исходящие от Ирана.

U.S. President Donald Trump will hold his first official meeting at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday, February 4. The leaders will discuss security issues, reports CNN, citing the Israeli Prime Minister's office.

Both leaders "will discuss Gaza, hostages, challenges related to all elements of the Iranian axis, and other key issues," CNN quotes a statement from Netanyahu's office released on Saturday, February 1.

The confirmation of the meeting came just hours after the latest round of hostage and prisoner releases as part of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. On Saturday, an American of Israeli descent and two other Israelis were freed in exchange for the release of nearly 200 Palestinian prisoners.

It is noted that Trump proposed his plan regarding the Gaza Strip, which involves "clearing" the enclave and relocating hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to neighboring countries—a concept that has been rejected by a key group of Arab nations.

Additionally, U.S. President Donald Trump invited several world leaders to his inauguration on January 20 but has not yet held any official meetings with global leaders since the beginning of his second term.
