Donald Trump told reporters that Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky should collaborate, according to Sky News on Friday.
This statement was made by Trump during the swearing-in ceremony for his new Secretary of Commerce.
He also reiterated his claim that Russia is eager to reach an agreement, and negotiations between Washington and Moscow are set to begin on Tuesday in Saudi Arabia.
"He further mentioned that a deal regarding mineral resources with Ukraine is nearing completion, echoing comments made a few hours earlier by his national security advisor," reports Sky News.
Trump also addressed rumors circulated by some media outlets about a planned visit to Moscow on May 9 – the US president denied this information.
