Fog and light wet snow with rain are expected in Kyiv on Friday, reports the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
According to KCSA, fog will persist in Kyiv during the first half of the day on January 24, with visibility ranging from 200 to 500 meters.
Experts recommend that drivers reduce their speed while driving in fog, turn on fog lights along with low beam headlights if available, maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, activate hazard lights when stopped, and avoid sudden maneuvers on the road.
Additionally, pedestrians are urged to be cautious and wear reflective elements—such as reflectors—to ensure they are visible to drivers during fog and at night.
Meanwhile, meteorologists forecast that the capital will be overcast on Friday, with light wet snow and rain expected, and temperatures ranging from 2 to 4°C.
