In the past 24 hours, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck four areas where personnel and equipment were concentrated, as well as two air defense systems of the Russian invaders, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday morning.
According to the General Staff, on January 1, the enemy launched one missile strike and 49 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using seven missiles and dropping 79 guided aerial bombs, and deployed 1,978 kamikaze drones.
Additionally, the enemy carried out 4,113 shellings, of which 204 were from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor conducted airstrikes, particularly in the areas of the settlements of Okhrimivka, Petrovka, Kovaly, Alisivka, Udy, Kozachya Lopan, Liptsy, Malye Prokhody in Kharkiv region; Khrenovka in Chernihiv region; Dachne, Shcherbinovka, Aleksandropol, Valentynivka, Vodyane Druhe, Yasenovo, Alekseyevka, Dokuchaevsk, Konstantinople, Andreevka in Donetsk region; Stepnogorsk, Primorsk in Zaporizhzhia region.
