A massive technical failure has occurred in the ChatGPT chatbot, with users in Europe and the USA reporting difficulties accessing the application. The issue has been confirmed by OpenAI, the American developer of the chatbot, as well as by the DownDetector website.
DownDetector reported 12,782 reports of problems from users of OpenAI products (ChatGPT, Sora, Dall-E, Data Analyst, Web Browser, Writing Coach, etc. – IF-U) around 8:30 PM Kyiv time.
"We are currently experiencing a high error rate in ChatGPT, API, and Sora. We are investigating the issue and will provide an update as soon as we can. This problem is caused by an upstream provider, and we are currently monitoring it. We continue to work on resolving this issue," OpenAI stated.
