In Kyiv, firefighters are extinguishing blazes caused by debris from a drone, according to the State Emergency Service.

As a result of an attack by Russian strike drones on Kyiv, fires broke out in the Pechersk and Svyatoshyn districts. A woman was rescued from the flames, according to the State Emergency Service on Wednesday morning.

As a result of the attack by Russian strike drones on Kyiv, fires broke out in the Pechersk and Sviatoshyn districts, with one woman rescued from the flames, reports the State Emergency Service on Wednesday morning.

"Pechersk district: there was partial destruction of 4-6 floors of a residential building and a fire on the 4th and 5th floors over an area of 70 square meters. One woman has been rescued. The fire is currently localized, and efforts are underway to extinguish it. Additionally, a fire occurred on the roof of a nearby non-residential building over an area of 80 square meters. Efforts to localize the fire are ongoing," the agency stated in a message on Telegram.

At the scene, 19 units of equipment and 75 personnel from the State Emergency Service are working.

"Sviatoshyn district: garages were destroyed and a fire broke out over an area of 20 square meters. Ten rescuers and two units of fire and rescue equipment are currently on site," the message added.
