In Uman (Cherkasy region), an infrastructure facility was damaged as a result of a nighttime Russian drone strike, reported on Tuesday by the city mayor, Irina Pletneva.
"As a result of the nighttime attack by the Russian army, an infrastructure facility was damaged. Energy workers are working on restoring electricity supply," the statement said.
According to preliminary information, no injuries were reported.
She later added that some areas of the community are experiencing outages of electricity and heating.
"Regarding the situation in the community: energy workers are working on restoring electricity supply. 'Uman Vodokanal' is operating on generators, water is being supplied to homes, and sewage systems are functioning. 'Uman Teplokommunenergo' is working on restoring heating to your homes," Pletneva wrote on her Facebook page.
She expressed gratitude to all services that ensure "the country's resilience in extreme conditions."
