Ukraine is in shock over the news of the attack in New Orleans, according to Zelensky.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky extended his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in New Orleans, USA, due to a terrorist attack in which a driver plowed into a crowd.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in New Orleans (USA) as a result of a terrorist attack where a driver crashed into a crowd.

"We in Ukraine are shocked by the news of the attack in New Orleans, USA, which resulted in the deaths of innocent people and many injuries. We believe that those responsible for this horrific attack will be held accountable. There is no place for violence, terrorism, or any other threats to human life in our world, and we cannot tolerate them," - wrote the head of state on social media platform X on the evening of December 1.

"We express our heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to all the injured. Ukraine stands with the American people and condemns violence," - he emphasized.

Earlier, it was reported that the tragedy in New Orleans occurred during New Year's celebrations on the streets of the city. According to official data, 10 people were killed, dozens were injured, and at least 30 individuals were hospitalized. The FBI has launched an investigation into the incident in New Orleans, treating it as a terrorist act.
