Russian forces continue to attack in nine different directions, with nearly 200 combat encounters occurring since the beginning of the current day, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Since the start of today, there have been 199 combat encounters. Russian invaders have launched 48 airstrikes, using 57 guided aerial bombs (GAB). Additionally, the Russians deployed 837 kamikaze drones for strikes and conducted over four thousand shellings against our troops' positions and populated areas," the statement reads.
In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled three enemy attacks near Volchansk. The invaders conducted airstrikes with GABs on the areas of the settlements of Oreshanka, Zolochiv, and Udy, while using unguided rockets on Granyv in Kharkiv Oblast.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders three times in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzovo. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled all attacks. Artillery was subjected to an airstrike with GAB.
In the Lyman direction, throughout the day, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian positions near Nadezhda, Pervomaiske, Ternove, Yampolivka, Zarechne, and Makeevka 13 times. Currently, two battles are ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, during the day, the enemy made two attempts to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units near Bilohorivka, but had no success. At the same time, they dropped 12 bombs on Siversk.
In the Kramatorsk direction, there have been four combat encounters recorded near Chasiv Yar, Biała Hora, and towards Stupochky; all attacks were halted. The enemy attacked Stupochky with unguided aerial missiles.
In the Toretsk direction, Russians attacked the positions of the Defense Forces eight times. The main efforts of the offensive were concentrated near Shcherbinivka and Toretsk. Currently, one battle is ongoing. The enemy has conducted airstrikes with GABs in the areas of Katerynivka, Toretsk, Aleksandr-Kalinove, and Aleksandr-Shultino.
In the Vremivka direction, the invaders executed 13 offensive actions near Konstantynopil, Yantarne, Dachne, and Konstantynopil. Two battles are still ongoing. The enemy launched airstrikes on the areas of the settlements of Novopole, Alekseivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Konstantynopil.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy attack near Novodanylivka. The enemy attacked Stepnohorosk with unguided rockets.
In the Dnipro direction, the aggressor made one unsuccessful attack on the positions of Ukrainian troops.
