Over the course of a day, there were 158 combat encounters on the front lines, with the enemy continuing to attack six directions, including the Kursk region, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Today, the enemy carried out 37 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory (in particular, utilizing 43 guided aerial bombs), and deployed 808 kamikaze drones for strikes. They executed more than 4,300 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas," the report states.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked twice near Volchansk.
"According to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian defenders today in this direction eliminated and wounded 72 occupiers, destroyed a tank, two artillery systems, an anti-tank weapon, four vehicles, three communication devices, and 29 UAVs. Additionally, they significantly damaged a combat armored vehicle and nine cars," the report indicates.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to advance towards Ukrainian positions near Petropavlivka and Lozova five times throughout the day. Four of the enemy's attacks were repelled by the Defense Forces. Fighting is currently ongoing.
In the Siversky direction, the occupiers attempted to advance four times in the area of Bilohorivka and towards Vyimka, but were met with resistance.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy's activity since the start of the day included five combat encounters. Assault actions occurred near Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled ten enemy attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbinivka. All attacks were halted.
In the Dnipro direction, the enemy continues to make attempts to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions, where two unsuccessful assaults on Ukrainian military positions were conducted throughout the day.
