Russian troops continue their intense assaults in the Pokrovsk direction, despite suffering losses of nearly 400 soldiers, with almost 200 of them irretrievable. They are also particularly active in the Kurakhove and Kursk directions, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the day, invading units have attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses in the Pokrovsk direction 40 times near the settlements of Myrolyubivka, Luch, Sukhy Yar, Pyschane, Kotlyne, Ukrayinka, Yasenovo, Novoelyzavetivka, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lisovka, Zelenе, Novyi Trud, and Pokrovsk. Currently, there are still 10 ongoing clashes. Airstrikes targeted Aleksandropol, Tarasivka, and Hrodovka.
"The enemy is suffering significant losses - today, Ukrainian soldiers have neutralized 375 occupiers in this direction, with 185 of them being irretrievable. Additionally, three vehicles, a drone control antenna, three motorcycles, three buggies, and three artillery systems have been destroyed, while two units of enemy transport and two enemy guns have been damaged," the report states.
The enemy is also active in the Kurakhove direction, having attacked Ukrainian positions near Slovyanka, Serebryany, Andriivka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove, and Dachne 25 times, with two battles ongoing. In the Andriivka area, the enemy dropped two UABs.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 44 enemy attacks, with another 42 clashes still ongoing.
