The withdrawal of the United States from NATO and the weakening of Ukraine will lead to a large-scale war by Russia in Europe, believes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"I think these two steps, the exit from NATO and the weakness of Ukraine, will result in a large-scale war that Putin will bring to all territories of Europe post-World War II. That is, the Soviet, Soviet-era Europe, to fully control everything there," Zelensky said in an interview with Lex Fridman, published on Sunday on the YouTube channel of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
According to the president, if the U.S. considers withdrawing from NATO, then this war will affect America because North Korea is the "first bellwether." Zelensky noted that North Korea is gaining new skills from the war, particularly in acquiring new technologies.
"All these skills Korea will bring back and scale in that region, and this will pose a risk to the Pacific region, primarily concerning the security of Japan and South Korea, and these risks will be 100% present, and it is clear that these will also be risks for Taiwan, and this is unavoidable," Zelensky explained.
