The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has dismissed Lyubov Abravitova from her position as Ukraine's Ambassador to the Republic of Mozambique, and appointed Rostyslav Tronenko to this role.
The relevant decrees №18/2025 and №19/2025 have been published on the website of the head of state.
From 1994 to 1997, Rostyslav Tronenko served as the head of the secretariat of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
From 1997 to 1999, he was the Deputy Permanent Representative of Ukraine to international organizations in Vienna.
From 1999 to 2001, he was a counselor at the Ukrainian Embassy in Brazil.
From 2001 to 2003, he held the position of Director of the Third Territorial Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
From 2003 to 2005, he served as the head of the Department of Personnel Support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
From 2005 until May 12, 2010, he was the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Portugal.
From 2016 to 2021, he served as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Federative Republic of Brazil.
