The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, met with young people on the occasion of International Education Day and presented over 50 honorary badges of the award for young scientists.
"I want to thank you. It is an honor for me to be here today," - said Zelensky, addressing those gathered at the First National Forum of Talented Youth.
The President noted that there is currently no single most important profession in Ukraine, and he added that the country requires more than just a military sector. "Of course, the military is a priority, as a soldier without weapons is in a weak position," he explained.
"And weapons are ultimately about science and technology, because in the end, we need to ensure that we do not lose a person," the president emphasized.
